In this presentation we will begin with an introduction to texture analysis, which consists of several quantitative features to represent heterogeneity of imaged tissues. Dr. Simpson will provide mathematical definitions of these features and describe the process of extracting them from CT scans. Dr. Gönen will then discuss some of the challenges presented by these data sets in clinical applications.
