Abstract

This short course will introduce the basics of multiple regression analysis, from data preparation and model building to hypothesis testing and interpretation of results. You will learn how to use multiple regression models to make predictions and gain insights from your data.

Instructor Biography

Lifeng Lin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona. Prior to joining the UA, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Florida State University from August 2017 to June 2022. He obtained his Ph.D. in biostatistics from the University of Minnesota in 2017. His research focuses on statistical methods for meta-analysis, network meta-analysis of multiple-treatment comparisons, publication bias, and Bayesian methods.
